Try it for sleeping instead... [04.10.07]I need this L.A.M.B. watch:
However, it's $325. I think I'm going to start saving.
Also, I want one of these:
![]() That is a toyger.
It's a special breed of domestic cat made to have tiger stripes. It's
probably thousands of dollars, but...I'm obsessed. OBSESSED. I've been
missing animals lately. I haven't held a cat in forever. I want to go
to pet stores just to pet cats. However, most pet stores I see in the
city only have dogs. So I've been checking out toygers pretty much on a
daily basis. Also cute? Bengal kittens.
![]() OMFG how cuted out are you right now?! I'm writing at work (shhh) and I'm silently flipping out at all these cat pictures. Can I has katz now?!?!?!??!
Also, I might need this shirt: ![]() I was kind of obsessed with 90210 - the early years. AND DYLAN. In other news, I found a website with sheet music for Ryan Adams
songs. And I'm totally unburying my keyboard from my parent's basement
and at least learning "Come Pick Me Up." I don't know why. I don't know
what use it would be of to me, but maybe, someday, I'll understand why
I must do this.
I've been wasting a lot of time today at work.
I'm stoked for the month of May. I think it's going to be rather great. Here are some reasons why:
1. May 3rd means everything is all right fucking awesome.
2. Bamboozle
is already shaping up to be legendary, even if just for the people
watching I so love to partake in with my best girls. There are great
bands playing [woah Muse what?!] and awful bands [Cute is What We Aim
For BARF] and a bunch of secret-name bands [Great American Freedom
Machine?!] to whet my curiosity. More amazing than the barrage of
crappy bands that are playing are the people who come to SEE those
crappy bands. Those audiences are tasty trash-talking buffets. In a
similar example: last year Erica and I spotted a boy in a Mest shirt.
Really? Mest? SERIOUSLY?
3. There will be making out. 4. Monty Are I show @ the Knitting Factory. Holler! Haven't seen
those kids since January, so I'm stoked for another one of their
fantastic live shows. Who's coming with me? [Edit: Okay, I just
remembered that Monty Are I is playing at Bamboozle - so I will see
them there too. Double stoked oreos!]
5. Many events have been planned for the Curbside Gang. Not that you're invited.
6. Getting to see my friends before work. And so starts the
outdoor summer concerts for the Today show. Just a few blocks from my
work, I can check out bands like All-American Rejects at 8 am before
work with my girls and then head to the cube. Um, chyeah.
7. Making out. 8. THREE DAY WEEKEND! My parents 25th Anniversary vow renewal-slash-reception-slash
9. The fact that it's April 11th and I've got a working itinerary for May? That means May will be out of this world. FACT.
10. Maybe it will actually get warm. And I can make out some more.
11. WALLZ ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! My paycheck equals solitude and privacy. 12. It's the month before Ryan Adams new album comes out. Oh shit. OH. SHIT. Easy Tiger. 06.26.07. ![]() Tonight I'm dancing it up with my girls @ Sutra. Last night I went to bed passed out at 10 pm. But what more could entice me than an open bar, good peoples, and good music?

the toyger or whatever it is just happens to be the most adorable thing ive ever seen in my entire life. also, im am sooo down for the monty show at knitting factory (im only going to bamboozle on sat). ALSO. i forgot to tell you this...i was talking to my coworker one day and told her that i had been out the night before and she asked me where and i told her b&dubs and her response was "oh yeah, ryan adams hangs out there" and im like why doesnt he hang out while WE are there?!?!
i think i'm going to be in the cityyyy at the end of may, we will have to dance it up for sure!
It's the enumerated list. It makes everything cohesive and brilliant. As opposed to the constant deluge of gmails to your inbox of the curbsides flipping out [OMGZ LOOK AT THIS KITTY PEOPLE!!!!!], it's all nicely summed up here. A digest, if you will.
I'm kind of scared to ever EVER meet Ryan Adams. I feel like that type of genius is only harbored in seriously complicated maniacs. Brilliant, but dangerous. Also, I feel like he'd probably hate me. I simply can't have my idol hating me.
I can't pick a favorite Ryan song! Though "Come Pick Me Up" is near & dear to my heart. It's in my top 10. I could listen to that song....forever on repeat. Your dad = AMAZING! I wanna hang out with your dad and discuss Ryan. Actually, I want to hang out with YOU and discuss Ryan. Yes, let's do that. I decided this week I'm more of a fan of Jacksonville City Nights over Cold Roses bc I haven't uploaded JCN to my iPod yet and I miss it dearly.
COME DANCE DANCE DANCE! My trainwreck days are over. :) xo
fact: the month of may will be epic
fact: i am awkward.com
your awkwardness amazes me every day. when i met you, i thought *i* was awkward. wow. i think we compliment each other well, though.
i fucking love EPIC.
One random thing - in LA there are only two H&M's and one is in Pasadena which is why I went there to go shopping and I finally got to see the M by Madonna collection stuff and I was super not impressed.
Lastly - I got crazy LAMB sweat pants that I think are the flyest thing ever.
OH man. A real life toyger?! And with a homeless lady?? Mind = blown. I really want to see one in person. In fact, I looked up the official website's "tour exhibition" dates totally trying to score a convention center peek. Nowhere near NY.
The Madonna collection for H&M is a yawnfest. Blandest shit ever. Nothing like L.A.M.B. - the sweats are usually awesome and super comfortable!! LAMB Lover 4 Lyfe, obvs.
I don't wear watches either! It's SO beautiful though. I feel like it would go with every outfit, it's effin' LAMB, and OH YEAH, it's badassssssssssssssssssssssssssss !
